Noisettes - Wild Young Hearts (2009)

Noisettes
One of the best live bands around

Noisettes are a rock trio from London, England, formed in 2003 when Shingai Shoniwa and Dan Smith (formerly of the band SonarFly) began writing and playing more intensely than before. They met drummer Jamie Morrison in December 2003, and went straight into the studio to record their four-track debut, Three Moods of the Noisettes, which was released on Side Salad Records.

Eventually signing to Universal, they’ve since released five singles: IWE, Scratch Your Name, Don’t Give Up, Sister Rosetta (Capture the Spirit), and The Count of Monte Christo. Their debut album What’s The Time Mr Wolf? was released in 2007. A second album, “Wild Young Hearts” is due for release on the 30th March 2009.

In 2009, “Don’t Upset The Rhythm” appeared in a car advert for the Mazda 2. This should aid their popularity, as often seen with songs featuring in adverts.

'Wild Young Hearts' is the second album from London-based indie three-piece Noisettes, who have developed their sound to incorporate a greater influence from dance music than on their 2007 debut 'What's The Time Mr. Wolf'. Meanwhile, the rock guitar riffs remain throughout with lead singer Shingai Shoniwa again showing what a unique talent she is. Includes the infectious hit single 'Don't Upset The Rhythm (Go Baby Go)'.
