If you’ve eagerly been awaiting a side project from main Owl City dude Adam Young that seemingly ditches the synths for guitars, then you’re in luck! Sky Sailing is such a project, and according to the MySpace set up for it/them, the album An Airplane Carried Me To Bed is due out July 13. Two guitar-and-piano-laden demos—”Brielle” and “I Live Alone”—are also up on MySpace, and if anything, they reveal that Sky Sailing is basically Owl City Unplugged.

Adam Young is a guy from Owl City has ditched his synths for guitars in his new side project. Sky Sailing is his new project and the album An Airplane Carried Me To Bed is due out July 13.

Adam Young fans will be saddened by the fact that the Minnesota native does not appear in this followup clip to “Vanilla Twilight.” But here’s a pic of him wearing what appears to be aviator goggles and a flight oxygen mask from Sky Sailing’s MySpace to ease your pain.
