For as long as I can remember, I have preferred the styles of the 1930s and '40s, in clothes as much as in hair. I think people tend to forget quite how extreme some of these looks and fashions were, and how difficult they can be to replicate. - razored down to stubble around the sides, long on top and greased back with a centre parting. Its looked like a cross between F.SCOTT FITZGERALD and RON MAEL from SPARKS.
It can be made to look very severe indeed-intensely archaic and formal, with the very long fringe combed straight back against a sharp side parting. I like the idea of it looking like COLE MOHR a modern haircut from seventy years ago. At fifty, it is a relief to not have to think about my hair anymore.
